My Thoughts

It is sunset time here now, outside it is cloudy after  heavy rain. Everyone loves rain. But I don't really enjoy the rain. I feel gloomy when it starts raining. I can hear the sound of fast moving traffic outside my apartment. The city is really busy all through the day, everyone running on their way to something.

I just wanted to scribble something here......
Let me take off for a while now.
Will be back soon with some crazy posts from my side...

Pulau Ubin- The last Village in Singapore

If you would love to do some workout without going to gym in Singapore plan a weekend to Pulau Ubin.
Go Cycling all around the small village which will just give you a good work out along with watching the beauty of nature.

I literally relish the three hours i spend at this small island on sunday.
The only means of transport by which you can reach this place is by boat. The boats are available throughout the day to this place. You can get the boat from Changi Village ferry terminal. The entry to this Island is free of cost.

First thing we did after reaching there was rent bicycle. We paid $8 per bicycle. You can just collect a map while you rent the bicycle so that you can get an idea of the entire village.
It was drizzling after an hour we started exploring the place and we were getting exhausted at the same time riding the bicycle continuously after a long gap. But still I did have a lot of enthusiasm in exploring the different attractions there. I did feel it very similar to my homeland Kerala. It was greenery all around with coconut trees. We did have a sip of thai tender coconut which is not so sweet as the tender coconut that we get back at home.

The weekend went so good with this. Waiting for next weekend to find some new places to explore....

A day at Bannerghatta National Park(Bangalore)

It was all of a sudden that we decided to go to Bannerghatta National Park on Friday 23rd of April 2010.
The same day morning my uncle and family has come to Bangalore from Kerala. I was supposed to go to office that day, but was lazy so took off from office for the day.

We started off from room after lunch, took auto to NIMHANS bus stop where we could get direct volvo bus(Route No: 365 starting from Majestic Bus Depot) to BNP. The main attraction that we wanted to visit at the park was Grand safari(which includes tiger, lion and herbivores). It is the third time I am going for safari from BNP. But each time I have gone with different set of people. So I enjoyed it every time.
